The Haven of Rest first went on the air on March 16, 1934. Celebrating it's 75th anniversary of broadcast ministry in 2009, Bob Bowman recalls how he first joined the ministry as a member of The Haven Quartet
I've followed the quartet since 1980. This quartet is the closes quartet when it comes to tight harmonies (next to the imperials 1966-72), that compares to the King's Heralds. If you want to hear tight harmonies look for the King's Heralds.
I listened to this program daily when I was a young Christian. The music and and devotional words were so uplifting. I especially remember the program they did on "Your Friendly Agnostic Listener".
I've been searching for Paul Sanberg's solos can someone post please!!!
