@ktornado lol. is that why pittsburgh was the most livable city and it continues to rank high in most city rankings? is that why obama picked pittsburgh to host the G20 summit? lol. thanks for trying though.

Go Flyers!

LOL!! I hate Philly and the Flyers but then I realized you're a Penguins fan. Haha what a fail! Pittsburgh is probably the worst city I've ever been to. What a disgusting place.
+ Penguins fans are by far the worst in, not only hockey, but sports in general.

Pens fans are the biggest bandwaggoners in the western hemisphere... jokes on you
-
that was really stupid. pens fans have to go out of their way to make dumb videos so they can feel like they're as good as fans as flyer fans. ok maybe we haven't won a cup since 1975, but our fan base is still twice as loyal as yours. and yeah we might be rude and loud but thats because we have tons of passion for our team and cant stand any other ones, especially phony bandwaggon fans like shitsburgh. you can thank lemieux for saving your shitty franchise.

@hooper119 intertextual content? you're such an idiot. my dislike for this video is not because I dislike the sport, teams, state, or anything other than the video itself. I like football and if you had wasted your time making the exact same thing with football over hockey, I'd still call you an idiot.
...i will assume this is why you don't like the video, and if you can elaborate on why you so adamantly dislike this video maybe i can use it as constructive criticism and consider it when i produce my next video. or you can just call me an idiot again and say the video is gay, adding no productivity to this discussion but continuing to add to the mindless clutter of the internet, which you are so against doing.

...is it safe to assume that your distaste for the video is based simply on its format? you would simply dislike any video which takes the widely-known introduction style of a TV show like "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia", and parodies it using professional sports footage in a piece of media intended for a limited audience of people with knowledge of the subject (and can appreciate the inside jokes and its "intertextual content"), which you by your own admittance don't belong?...

since you tried to make your initial argument credible by stating you didn't live in Pennsylvania and disliked hockey, my assumption was that your dislike for the video was based on your ignorance of the intertextual content... then it's safe to assume that the content has no bearing on your opinion of the video, whether its hockey or football (or any sport), and regardless of what the "It's Always Sunny.." title was changed to.

yes "intertextual content".. typically when a piece of media contains content from outside sources and requires the viewer to have previous knowledge of that outside source to understand and appreciate the media, it is common for a viewer to have a dislike for the media based on one's ignorance of the intertextual content...
