Unilever decided to take Jif (now Cif) down the spray route (e.g. Cif Power Cream, Cif Acti-Fizz), which is the way competitors' cleaners have also gone.
Microliquid was around for only a few years, along with Radion it was one of Unilever's relatively unsuccesful concepts. Obviously their foray into the liquid cleaner market was an attempt to challenge P&G's "Flash" dominance, but one that at this point failed.
PS: Is that Chris Barrie as the animated Jif Microliquid?

The Jif Micro Liquid ad was produced by Joe & Co and sung by Joe Campbell and Clare Torry to name but a few................
