I guess we will. Freeing the oppressed, the enslaved, and saving people from communists is a noble cause, I think that it is similar to saving Europe in the 40's and South Korea in the 50's. History will always prove you right but the war on the homefront can cause disaster like in Vietnam. Thanks for sharing

Index, my point was directed to those who feel that wars can be avoided completely. Wars free people. The Vietnam was supposed to provide freedom to oppressed people. It was a noble cause which was not executed well and not supported enough on the homefront.

just because it's a protest song doesn't mean americans can't enjoy it! it's still a great song!
