Community organizing is what Obama did like 20 years ago. It was his first job out of college. After that, Obama spent 12yrs as a professor of constitutional law, 7yrs as a state senator and 3 as a federal senator.
News flash: your 1st job out of college is not going to be who you are.
If anything, all that being a community organizer shows at that time in his life is his dedication to helping people, not to the kind of money he could have made practicing something like corporate law.
She thought the tax payers money was going to the fannie mae and freddie mac before it was annouced yesterday, she has no experience in the economy, she sold a plane not through ebay, and that plane was also used to transport prisoners, she is a liar!
I think Obama's heart is in the right place, but I just don't think he's cut out for the job. He lacks experience. And I'm not talking about experience in Washington. He's never really been a leader for anything major (business, city, state). I'm not a big Giuliani fan, but I liked his quote from the RNC "Hope is not a strategy."
Sure the plane was sold for loss, but do you know how much it takes to maintain one of those? In the long run she still saved money by getting rid of a plane her Democratic predecessor bought. The "bridge to nowhere" line just makes a great soundbite. But on the issue of trooper, I watched the lone interview he granted to CNN. The guy should have been fired. He admits using a taser on his step son, killing a moose illegally (that's funny), and was convicted of drinking and driving, twice.
Yeah, the Obama supporters don't know what to do. I've been getting slammed for saying I like her elsewhere on the web. Funny thing is I'm not even that fond of McCain. I'm just voting for him because of her. I find it refreshing that he picked someone outside of Washington.
cleaned up her state? done things? Oh she's done things. She sold a government plane for a loss of .5 mil to one of her supporters. Rallied for funding a bridge to nowhere and when she realized the Federal Government wasn't going to pay for all of it she flip-flopped and kept what they had already given. She is also under an ethics investigation for repeatedly pressuring a government official to fire her brother in law over a divorce. She probably still doesn't even know what the VP does.
Palin is like political jujitsu. You really can't go after the experience of the vp candidate without showcasing the even lesser experience of Obama. Except whilst Obama hub-bubbed with party line corruption Palin ratted out her own party and cleaned up her state. Oh yeah, she's also DONE THINGS. A claim Obama can't make.
I think it's funny. This election is finally starting to be entertaining. I bet Obama is shitting his pants over the Palin announcement. Maybe Biden wasn't such a great choice after all.
