Interviewed on Jonathan Ross's eighties Channel 4 chat show.

To understand some references, first guest Dawn French said she was "moist" at the thought of final guest Tom Jones appearing, and also that Dr Ruth had just been on talking about condoms.

  • I watched Brazil for the first time today. I could really see his craziness and randomness!!! "I won't look at your willy!" ROFL!!

  • As JR matures, he has really come in to his own! I idolised him then! and think he is still pretty cool now!

  • He's not happy here about the UK press (re:failure to report problems about getting 'Brazil' out). Substitute 'Joan Collins' with 'Cheryl Cole' and nothing changes.

  • 'Life of BWIAN'...

  • I think this was the first UK chat show where the host sat behind a big table, trying to copy the US.

  • Brazil...Brilliant and anyone remember the one legged acrobat on JR the last resort. classic, same era as when Ben Elton was fantastic. (was)

  • "Do you get much of that?"

    "Yeah."

    XD

  • I loved em both!

  • This is TV archeology! Where do you get this material from? Jonathan is absolutely charming, no wonder he made it so big. Brazil is one of my favorite movies, hated Munchhausen, though.

  • I used to love JR in those days. He was funny, but still nice at the same time. Now he's nasty and not at all funny.
