This custom designed CanJoe Company instrument is made of 5 types of wood and designed to resemble a rifle. The stock is ebony stained maple with a Toy Simpson custom box turkey call mounted on it. It has 4 brass NWTF inlays. The neck is "hipped" in to the stock with a beautiful piece of Honduran mahogany. The neck is made from old wormy chestnut with a curly maple finger board stained ebony and inlayed with a brass NWTF logo. At the "barrel end", or headstock, there is a custom Tony Simpson glass scratch turkey call mounted in with an official NWTF striker edged with the image of the state of Tennessee around the logo. This custom CanJoe Company instrument was designed and crafted by CanJoe*John with some assistance by Jack Bradshaw on the inlays. The can is a "Team RealTree" sport drink can. It was auctioned at the Bays Mtn Longbeards Chapter of Kingsport, TN at the 2011 annual banquet and sold for $575.
