@JDhappy81 I agree. Celine should've made a different choice of words. They're practically the same age. Whitney's first album debuted in '85. Celine was 17 at that time, so it really doesn't count as "growing up listening to her," but oh, well.

It doesn't necessarily mean that if you grow up listening to someone then that "someone" is much older than you. Maybe Celine Dion has been listening to Whitney even if both of them were stars already.
