I loved this game and was pretty good at it but could never beat the Eternal Champion (HE CHEATS)...eventually had to give up.

@jdigitalseven Slash had a kind of club stomp with which I was able to defeat the final boss once. But only once hehe

Whenever I defeated one of the other competitors, I felt so sorry for them. It meant that they wouldn't get their life back.

I have only beat this boss ONCE in my life with Trident, who is also the cheapest character in the game. I hated the Eternal so much, yet, I admired him a lot for being so cool!

Furthest I made it was to Eternal Champion's yellow form. Then somehow I lost all the way back to the first battle. Who decided that system was a good idea?

I could never beat the Eternal Champion. They made him too hard. The game eventually got too boring. At least they fixed that in the SegaCD version.
