@LiveActionFilms Did you or did you not provide Planned Parenthood with a check with a note specifying that the donation was to underwrite the abortions of Black women, or in any way make a donation that was explicitly conditional upon the funds being used to abort the fetuses of Black women?

@Nullifidian Except that Planned Parenthood doesn't dispute the content and even put staff on leave following the video releases and admitted to lapses in judgement. There is major media news coverage of this video series. It isn't just a one off video but a documented pattern.

@LiveActionFilms So then did you provide Planned Parenthood with a check that they accepted for underwriting the abortions of Black people? If yes, you're complicit in what you want to condemn (both abortion and alleged racism) and if no, then this is mere chaff meant to disguise the issue. And no, I didn't watch all the videos. I have better things to do with my time than sit down and watch all the crap you people produce, especially as the contents of the videos can never be verified.

@Nullifidian If the donation is marked as such on a check, it must be used exactly for that purpose or returned. Please go read an accounting book on restricted funds. If funds are accepted for a purpose that does not currently exist, a new account must be created within the accounting system for that purpose. Instead of arguing with me, go do some reading. I hold an accounting degree and used to work in investment banking including holding the highest management licensing (S24) through FINRA.

...the money, they would accept it regardless. That does not impose upon PP an obligation to start a Black-women-only abortion fund, as you know full well. It would only be an issue if they had *promised* to start one as a condition of receiving the money, but you didn't dare to have your fake caller make that condition explicit. Again, you show your utter lack of ethics and honesty by not only dreaming up this stunt, but also coming up with tortured rationalizations for why PP is in the wrong.

@LiveActionFilms Actually, that is exactly an absurd reading. It's fraud if a charity takes money with the understanding that it will go to food for a food bank and instead spends it on a Ferrari for the boss. It is not fraud if an organization that provides abortions takes money for abortions. There was no promise, either explicit or implicit, that they were going to directly fund the abortions of Black women. All the person said was regardless of the reason your fake caller had for donating...

@Nullifidian That isn't an "absurd" reading. That is established non-profit and accounting legal responsibility. Enforcement is usually low but it is fraud to promise funds be used one way and then use them another.

-- They wouldn't ever be in trouble unless they spent the funds for something else. They have a fiduciary responsibility.
