If anyone knows the Home of the Underdogs or Abandonia you can download these games for free up to newer ones like Secret Weapons of the Luftwaffe and even Microprose's B-17 Flying Fortress

i really missed the humor in the cheap PC-Speaker style explosions!

Wow, I remember playing this game back in '89. I think this was one of the first PC games I played...or it might have been Stellar 7.
Thanks for taking me down memory lane!

The Atari ST and Amiga versions didn't support joysticks, but the IBM version did. It works with any 2-axis 2-button controller. No need to setup, you can instantly use it if it's present, just like the mouse. With DOSBox you don't even have to find a joystick antique!

Definitely! It's the way I always did it too. The rear gun is extremely effective, and while preparing for a torpedo attack you really have your hands full and can't deal with the fighters...

Have this and 'Their Finest Hour' and still play them - absolutlybloodyfantastci!

goes to show you how far sims have come wow! This is awesome though!
Great game -for the time. It was just unrealistic though the way you could shoot down 6 Zeros with your Dauntless (!) Still, it made you feel as though you were doing your part for the war effort! :D
