-
k i don't remember this but knowing me i probably slept through it lmao
-
aha i remember when this happened i was up at 12-1am and had a new guitar hanging on the wall, was just getting into bed and looked out the window when i saw trees shaking then my house shook and i absolutly shit it looking at the guitar wobbling :|
-
i dont suppose it happened to originate exactly 10km / 6.1 miles deep?! seems a lot have been, unusual, no?
-
I felt it in Beverley, but they didn't say about east riding
-
I follow the word of the Flying Spaghetti Monster - he stretches out his noodly appendage and stirs the world, this causes earthquakes. If more people would follow the scriptures of the FSM there would be peace, joy and lots of pirates. Ra-men.
-
it hurt my tummy the shaking and i had a headache
-
was in hull, the vibration hurt me
Some of the comments on here are so funny, no earthquake of any serious nature will hit the UK in my lifetime, my children's lifetime, my children childrens' lifetime...you get the point.
Check the plates around the world.
We never get hit by earthquakes, major hurricanes (once in a blue moon), volcanoes, avalanches, the worst we get in this country is rain and too much american music.
Now wind your neck in, pipe down, jog on and leave our beautiful UK alone.

Yeah... Anyone who thinks this is global warming needs to do basic GCSE geography :\ as you said pressure builds up slowly as the plates move and occasionaly one will slip and cause an earthquake, tremor. etc... Global warming does not cause plates to move faster, or slip :S And global warming isn't caused by CO2 either, fuck al-gore and his assholeisim. Completly natural cycle, otherwise we'd still be in the ice age.
