This video was taken while doing research about John Purdue, founder of Purdue University.

It shows Bishop Philander Chase, who founder Kenyon College and several of the people who contributed to the foundation of the school such as Lord and Lady Kenyon and Hannah Moore.

Philander Chase was born in Cornish, New Hampshire on December 14, 1775, and died at Jubilee College in Illinois on September 20, 1852. He was the first Bishop of Ohio and of the entire western US, in those days. He was also a pioneer educator. From his schools came President Rutherford B. Hayes and Salmon Chase, his nephew, for which the Chase bank is named.
