I don't think those lyrics are the original ones. Can't recall the songwriter, but I believe the lyrics were a taxi driver talking about riding his taxi around Calcutta town. Interesting song in any case.

@musicbuff9 Yes, they still perform too. In fact, the lead singer may see your comments here. I've corresponded with him a few times, he's a a very nice person as well as a great singer.
