  • ...And people like recent drum corps. lines?:

i would think this is living proof that lines back then were FAR superior than today's...

just fast sixteenth notes and triplet rolls are played today...very square and vanilla compared to the 80's and early 90's...also check out 1994 Cadets drumline

  • BALLS!

  • Jeff was at the end?

  • i'd love to see it on paper too....i did my best to transcribe the whole show (tenor parts mostly), but I'm sure I'm pretty far off. That was back when I had a VCR that had "Super Slow Motion"!

  • I was at this warm up at Finals. I agree they were one of the best lines that year. It's to this day one of the best preshow warmups by a drum line I've ever witnessed. Sco Jo's mullet is also one of the most impressive since Billy Ray Cyrus!

  • yes.

  • Yeah, I had a copy of it in St. Louis, MO! But anyway tenors kick some ass at 4:00!

  • which one is McNutt?

second from the left? with the sqaure design on his shirt

  • this someone else's video ( different than the one everybody and their grand mother has a 8'th generation copy of). I wish I could get another copy. I used to watch it " religiously " after school every day in high school.

anyone have a good copy of that tape ( with all the i & e solos/ ensembles, may camp)?

  • actually, its steve gadd's march. which is what this and legend are based off of.
