What's up, guys. I'm Tatiana Carrier for clevver movies with the latest on 'Spider-Man'.

You know we're your Spidey hookup, so we just had to show you Andrew Garfield as Spider-Man on the cover of Entertainment Weekly. Okay, so the flick doesn't hit theaters for another year, but EW decided to get fans excited for next week's Comic-Con by featuring Spidey on this week's cover.

Inside, the mag features interviews with stars Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone, as well as director Marc Webb.

Fans have waited a long time for another Spider-Man flick -- it's already been four years since we saw Tobey Maguire as Peter Parker in 'Spider-Man 3.' And by the time we see Andrew Garfield take the lead, Spider-Man will have been on a five-year hiatus.

But 'The Amazing Spider-Man' promises to be "more contemporary," "more gritty" and "more character-driven." The 27-year-old Garfield is comfortable stepping into the role of Spidey, saying ""I related to Peter Parker so much, because I felt like someone else inside." He adds that he read the comic books as a kid and even dressed up as the comic book hero.

The Spider-Man issue of Entertainment Weekly hits newsstands July 15th. Comic-Con will invade San Diego July 21st through the 24th, and 'The Amazing Spider-Man' swings onto the big screen in July 3, 2012.

To FANS: I'm A HUGE Spidey fan so yes I am a little disapointed that there is "No" Spider-Man 4, but sence we get a Reboot, lets make the best of it and enjoy seeing more Spider-Man and hope that it will be even better than the Sam Rami Films... can we do that?

@TheYayamarquez Bro I don't see why people are so stupid Batman Begins is claimed to be the best batman ever and followed by The Dark Knight also amazing.. want to know something funny, George Cloony's Batman was 7 years before Batman Begins so 5 years is enough for a good reboot. everyone bitched and moaned (like you) about Batman Begins and long behold it was wayyyyy superior to any other George Cloony Batman they could have made so i say this Spidey will be much better. @drebreezy14 Dude, with some time and re-writes it could've had a wonderful story line and I don't understand why the hell anyone would want a "reboot"? Do you honestly think it makes sense; when Spidy just came out in '07? I mean honestly, "Do you really think so?" Would't you rather see a continuation, then a freaking reboot? Sam made Spider-Man feel real and Toby looked more the "Nerdy Type" and "Garlfield, nothing agaisnt him, but I'm feeling: Miguel 'O Hara of: Spider-Man 2099, you know.
