  • are all gt40rs twin scroll?

  • nope you have to get the special housing

  • Just FyI, you only need a turbo timer if you don't have a water cooled turbo, which mine is

  • wrong, water cooled or not, you want to let the engine idle after a hard run, water cooled housing is not magic, still needs to idle for a while depending on load! Timer just makes it convenient.

  • ^^haha, its all this big hipe about the turbo timer, yes when you pull into the garage and turn off the car thats way plenty of time...what do you think magically at idle the car doesn't need oil and it doesn't flow to all parts of the engine and turbo...and yes it does matter if the turbo is water cooled or not...but thats your own opinion on that one

  • Ball bearings FTW

  • +1 to that!

  • twin scroll is a design that divides the turbine housing or the hot side into two chambers that merge at a given point. Volumetricly providing better flow while enhancing turbocharger response. this[][] not this [O]. good for big turbos on small displacement engines.

  • I made dinner by the time it finished spinning!

  • @blowbyu24

just easy down the last miles before you shut down your car, thats easy.

  • how can a 1400 degree turbo be cooled down by water? that evaps around what??

  • Nice Subie :)

  • cool vid, yes, it is recommended to allow time to idle, yes, weather its oil/water cooled, the main reason is because the turbo veins are spinning extremely fast, when the engine is shut off the veins of the turbo are still spin very fast but with no oil pressure, yes there is still oil present, and yes the effects are not as important if the car is driven gently for a few minutes after a hard run and stopped. the problem is stopping right after a run, not simply driving home and parking..

  • @88NPR fucking dumbass troll

  • that's hypnotic lol

  • sorry!!!!

  • it's spelled "garretT" ;)

  • GARRET IS GARRET
