Seashore is a free alternative to photoshop, altough it is only for mac its a great freeware alternative to photoshop. The only downfall is the lack of effects that photoshop has. It has a few but not to many.

can you make fat people small with seashore? been using this program for editing pictures of people, but can't find how to make people smaller....

@veggieindian do you mean like cutting and pasting picture clips?
Because that you can do. Just select and press command-c.
