  • We replaced the machine with a new Speed Queen. Its a much nicer machine. The Kenmore had rust in the tub anyway.

  • @mistereric2 Hows the Queen treatin ya?

  • @budgetappliance Working GREAT! i like it. Feels like a higher quality machine.

  • @jonnydenver Thanks for the tip. My symptoms just like yours. I checked first thing before diving into a repair to see if selector was set to normal. It was not set at normal as you described. The dial was slightly off the detented position. Once I moved the dial to normal position, washer worked perfectly. Thank you again.

  • What a beast!

  • I had the same issue and after taking the machine apart and after checking the mechanical and the electric, I found it was user error and a simple fix. The dial on the front panel was set between delicate and normal agitation. I simply turned the dial to make certain that the dial was hard stopped at one of the settings. No parts, no cost, no new washing machine.

I had the exact issue as shown in this video. I hope then next person that runs into this problem will test the quick fix first.

  • I have that one.

  • I had a washer like this. Had for it awhile and it stopped spining so I threw throw it away.

  • my mom has that brand.

  • @benquintana2001 Ben, I think I have the same problem as you. In the start of the spin cycle when the tub drained it began to spin but slowly with the clicking and pulling power. Our first clue was that the lights in the house started getting dim about 2 times a second. You said you replaced the motor coupler. But what else did you have to do, or did you just get a new washer? I have to make a quick decision on whether to DIY this tonight or shop for new at lunch. Write back if you can. Thanks!

  • It's obviously the TP973728 not teleporting the rare gazoo substance back to the planet LB9802 hence why your washing machine is not working as it should.

  • i had a machine like this
