hum5didy, i agree that some artists change as they get mainstream, but i dont think that landon pigg is one of them.
i think his sophomore album (came out in sept 2009) gives the same vibe as LP, which i really like.
try listening to "can't let go" acoustic (or any of his new songs acoustic!) and you'll see that it gives the same feel as the coffee shop ep. haha

Coffee Shop EP actually came out after this song which was on his debut record. His music has become more and more stripped down in intimate. Which it usually goes the other way around. I agree with you. I like the more simple quiet stuff. I think that's when Landon is at his best!

I agree with that, i mean I wish the guy success, but even just the sound of bands after they get mainstream isn't as good anymore. My favorite cd is the Coffee Shop-EP because its more just him and his guitar and really good music.
