  • i'm a proud new owner of Tha Heist. what all is involved in disengaging the side-stand killswitch?

  • @homeskills - Congrats on the bike. The removal is easy just a plug that you can pull at the side stand. Once you pull it tape off the end of the connector and zip tie it to the frame

  • @drgnriderx - Sounds easy enough - thanks! One more question - I watched your oil change videos and I think you said it takes about 1.1 qts. The manual calls for 900ml (just under a quart) and the website specs calls for 1200ml (1.26 qts). Just wanted to get your thoughts on that discrepancy. Also, any oil filter on this bike? Thanks again and keep it up with the great videos!

  • @homeskills - to be honest i just use 1 qt of premium synthetic oil. My oil of choice is B&G sheer power 10w30 for wet clutch application. You can get the same level with any premium synthetic Like BellRay and royal purple. just make sure that whatever oil you use its for wet clutch application. With close to 6700 miles on my bike its worked out. My dealer also stated 1qt was fine and he knows these bikes better than anyone. As far as the oil filter its on the lower lt side of the motor

  • @drgnriderx (cont) there is a 22mm nut behind the shift rod that contains a metal mesh cone filter screen and a spring that holds it in place. use carb cleaner to clean it out and let it air dry. to reinstall the nipple side out then the spring and the nut to lock it away. i will also suggest getting a magnetic drain plug as well. can find them on ebay for under $20 USD

  • @Joshleesmallin - thx

  • not at all with the wrap on the pipe, hell before he wrap it was fine too. Took the bike out for better than an hour on Sunday the 15th prior to wrapping it and it was fine.

  • how warm is your leg when you ride?
