Your very own herb garden is as simple as one pot! Start by choosing herbs to grow that will best serve your needs, Thyme is a creeper and grows low so it could be a nice match with taller growing herbs like basil or sage. We recommend a deep, large pot that has a drainage hole (we prefer ceramic pots which hold moisture). Fill to top with fertilized potting soil (about 2 /12 inches from the top) and insert your herbs. Be sure to give each herb a couple of inches between one another, so they can spread and grow. Place in a sunny spot on your patio or deck and enjoy the benefits of your one pot, herb garden!
I'm a chef and I'm starting my herb garden today. Great example for the thyme. Never thought of that! Thanks
