The music of Emily isn't really being used to "shill junk food" as you have implied in you comment. She was playing for the Chicago Thanksgiving Day Parade, whose corporate sponsor was McDonalds. The music is not being used in a commercial, and she doesn't receive compensation from McDonalds for this performance.
