Ever since we heard about the Autodesk T-Splines acquisition, we've been trying to get in touch with our friend Matt Sederberg--founder and ex-CEO of T-Splines Inc.--for the juicy details.
@KevBoy3D You know, frankly I don't know how they're different under the hood, but from the user standpoint, T-Splines is almost identical to Imagine and Shape in CATIA (haven't used PTC's offering). I imagine SW is planning to incorporate this kind of tech in v6, when they finally adopt the CATIA kernel.
What I wonder about is, how does this technology differ from Dassault's and PTC sub-div style offerings? Can those convert to nurbs just as easy as T-Splines?
