Simple method to use x264Encoder in QuickTime Player 7 (Snow Leopard)

In this example I use CRF encoding (=Data rate:Automatic), so single pass is mandatory.
This sample source is DV-NTSC.mov 29.97fps. So I use nclc 616 and gamma 2.2.
Also I apply de-interlace filter using CoreVF.

  • I never tried QT BroadCaster yet, but it may work with:

    - Preset:UltraFast + tune:ZeroLatency.

    - unset set frame reordering.

  • I am sorry I can't help.

    This component is Mac only.

  • It would be so good if you could update this video. A lot of things has changed since you posted this back in 2009. Options are quite different now. Thanks!
