@Luminareo when you quote figures they should be accurate the US defense budget is not 59% of the total expenditures... in reality it is closer to 20% ... it spends the same or more on social security as well as medicare. 20% military, 20% medicare and 20% social security (roughly within 5 percentage points depending on the year you look at) it is clear they do not have enough money to keep everything going as it has if you look at all pertinent information
This guy tries to come off as tough on spending, but ultimately he can't even meet the goal. The United States spends 59% of its budget on the military. Education is 3%. Given such a budget, how can you even argue that you don't have enough money?
