@d0rkiishchris You can see these options at the bottom of an approach plate.

@sightscreen66 its actually a normal procedure not executed all too often in the states. Many airports with just one vor approach or ndb will have a circle-to-land manuever to get to the other runways from that approach. Thats what this looked like. That way with low visibility you can still get to the runway of your choice. In the U.S. theres almost always a suitable runway with the approach.

I experienced almost exactly that last minute turn and approach in a VLM Fokker 50 into Southampton. Absolutely fine and jolly good fun for those PAX whose noses weren't buried in last month's utilisation figures or whatever was more important than the real world on that particular day.
