Panasonic plasma S30 series image noise

Horrible image noise in dark scenes - visible even 3 meters. One snapshot from The Matrix. Panasonic's technican informed me that the whole series have the same issue. I also saw it on TX-P42G30E. I'm waiting for official answer from Panasonic.

I think this manifests when brightness is set too high...?

@Diwwah Yes, but on almost black scenes in every movie it's also visible. On older models such as PY80 this issue doesn't exist.

@geobarbaru I have the same noise problems in the tv's Cinema modes.In Normal mode it's completely gone.

i also have tx-p42s30e and i don't have the noise problem with the following setup: PC (ATI 4890, 1080p60, pixel format full RGB)>HDMI1, viewing mode:normal, contrast: 45-50, brightness: +9 (at +10 green noise starts to appear in the black bars of a letterboxed film), sharpness 0, vivid colour off, eco mode off, p-nr off. firmware version is 1313 upgrade from 1303 (don't know if it made a difference) contact your local panasonic support and they should provide it.
