I agree with everybody about Doug Gray. He has so much talent. So much! but he insists on this strange ad-libbing, and bizarre rhythm changes that seem to be only self-focused. What a wonderful voice he has. I agree with the person who says that the studio versions are so good. I find that is true. It seems he was more contained. Every great actor needs a great director and Doug Gray apparently had no one to "contain" him. Jake Mulhane

I never thought about it but Doug Gray always changed lyrics and timing, studio version's much better

Doug Gray is the lead singer, and the only original member still touring.
Toy Caldwell (lead guitar) and George McCorkle (guitar) both died.
The original bass player, Tommy Caldwell is also dead.
This show was after 1981 because his replacement, Franklin Wilkie is playing bass here.

nice...
Toy was one of the very best...could take on Stevie Ray every day of the week. The lead singer (don't know his name) trashes live performances on lyrics...just my opinion...... I've yet to find a live vid where the guy doesn't just wreck the set with ad-libbing. Really cheats people that enjoy the stuff made them so great.. the guy plays a tamborine..and changes original lyrics...for cryin out loud. He was never the draw for this group that had so much talent. just sayin...
