Thanks buddy you just made a $130 repair bill $75 and even that was with paying the local shop $66 for the display which is on amazon for $35 and paying $10 for tools I will keep on hand for future use. Good, fast, cheap pick 2 out of the 3 :D

@therossflud The ones from china come in lots of pieces. You have to replace the volume buttons and all the other little buttons with theirs to get their housing to fit on yours. It isn't just 1 solid piece. I am good at replacing housings been doing it a few years. I tried the 9700 and it was a nightmare.The front silver and plastic front is a breeze. If replacing everything inc the back with all the buttons, good luck. Yes you can break it if you don't know what you are doing :)

Will you do a video like this for Blackberry Bold 9900? I want to buy a housing for mine, but there are no videos of how to change it. And I have a question about the screen on the 9900. I used to have a BB Curve 8520, and there are a plastic screen before the actual screen. But it doesn't seem like 9900 does. So is just just the touch screen display? There will be no other way to have a different colour LCD screen?

Hey, I have the 9780 and my screen cuts out intermitantly. I found out that a temporary fix is to hold push in the bottom left of the screen but then cuts out shortly after.Jst wondering if its the connection to the screen and why you struggled to re attatch the connection to the screen. Is this difficult to reattatch? What do you think the problem is? Disappointing how I bough in Aug2011 &this 2nd blackberry i have to take back.if my 1 yr warrenty doesn't cover i will have to repair it myself.

@gtcellphone my blackberry bold 9900 works fine but i dont know why it cant recognize the sim card ;( the guys on the store told me that i have to change the motherboard and it will cost me about 250 $ what do u think i should do ??????
