that is total bs a hydra-shok is no more likely to penetrate armor than any other type of hollowpoint, problably less like than a bonded bullet like a gold dot

This is what I use in my M&P 9MM and my .38 J Frame. Hydra Shok has excellent expansion. The center post minimizes plugging, creates controlled expansion and efficient energy transfer. I read a testimonial about a police officer who shot a armed suspect center mass with Hydra Shok. When another officer went to the autopsy the center post was visible through the suspects back. Yes there are newer bullets that are bonded and have some benefits. However this premium ammo gets the job done.

Why not shoot it point blank, if you wern't close enough.

It's what i use in my Hi-Point C9 9mm pistol for when i leave the house and for home defense.

@BordeauxBulldog You are simply ignorant. Please do not comment on things you have such little knowledge on.

@ufailhard1 well first off the penetrator rounds are steel core and are designed to stay in one piece for armor penetration, hence the name. The rifle that shoots the round isn't what makes the projectile tumble. its the fact that the nose of the bullet slows down so much quicker than the tail end of the projectile when it hits a target. Thats what makes the round tumble. Most bullets will do this depending on speed and kinetic force on impact.

hmm try upgrading your ammo, 80's hydra shoks are trash these days, 30 years of ballistics development have given us the 147 grain GDHP, the 147 grain PDX1, the 147 grain Winchester Ranger Enhanced, all these are vastly superior to any Hydra Shok

Guys , I was in Russian special operation command and we used 9mm pistols like as sidearm ;)) it's has more firepower , more rounds in magazine and also 9mm cartridge is lighter .....so , you can get more with you ;))) we also used .45 ACP based guns for operation and training where the silencers were used , because it's slow speed bullet and doesn't go to exceed hypersonic barrier ..... low sounded big kick ;))) HK / Mark-23 is the best for it ..... low rounders like as TT / 7.62mm ( 8round

wow nice...thats all i load in my my 9mm, not for range practice, allthough it is a good idea every once in awhile to throw ur carry ammo at a few targets. 1 just so u could put new ones in ur carry gun mag 2 hydras and golddot spears or any +p or +p+ has a little more snap too it

you guys are both pussies carry a 44mag if you hit a shoulder itll blow off there fucking arm. im just kidding i think a 45 from a police officers point of view makes more sense than a 9mm. you want to stop the threat fast, but it is also shot placement idk i personally like my 40 i can hold 15+1 rounds with decent knockdown power. thats just me and you can all blow me if you get butthurt over it
What ammo you used? Is it round point?

I used Federal Hydrashoks, which are jacketed hollow point rounds. Look at my other videos for video of the round after it went through the water.

Are you going to make a video of what the bullet looks like when you're done?

Hey, why not. Hold on and look at my recently uploaded videos in a few minutes.
