No Opie, it's not "play Misty" , the song is a romantic jazz classic ballad called "Misty".
Sometimes these guys betray a real cluelessness.

Love O&A but, ur a little out of ur league &misinformed here, guys. "PMFM" was in theatres, and it was moderately sucessful enough to keep Eastwoods career afloat until being offered the role of 'Dirty Harry' in1971. In one street-level shot in "DH", u can actually see "PMFM" up on a movie marquee. Love/hate Clint's movies/directing all you want. And ya, he was pretty corny in "PMFM". But he wasnt the WORST DJ Ive ever heard. I hear guys on the radio TODAY that are WAY WORSE. Oh well, carry on.

This was a hit movie not a TV movie and was actually filmed at KRML which was a very small FM station at the time and only a guy with a Jag would have had an FM in his car at that time, My friend was the PD at the time at KRML and what they paid would not have been enough to rent that car let alone a maid and a home over the ocean-Please-great movie though--the maid did not die in the move-these guys are not to sharp.

@beaconmike "imitate Howard's show"....by what, having an annoying black women carry the show?
-
lol, bunch of faggot Cunt Eastwood fangirls getting their panties in a bunch over a couple of DJs.

THESE JOCKS ARE CLUELESS!

Clint is not a writer. He has not written any movies.
-
Eastwood practically invented the concept of Radio and the 'Quiet Storm' music from this film.
Of course, the only way these DJ's can make any money is to completely imitate Howard Stern's show.............how pioneering of them.............what goofs.
go die stupid

Who fucking cares what kind of release it was? Does that little error make everything they pointed out about it and joked about wrong? No,it doesn't,so stop being a hyper-literal troll.
