Those leaders also do not grasp the dynamic and historical context of how our system operates as it does, and why it will not work in the soon to be future, unless in a collapsed and even more feudalistic context.
Basic lack of education can partly explain this dynamic, as the current political Price System poorly educates its citizens, and can also be viewed as providing information that is akin to propaganda, thus the Price System brand of abstract concepts is negatively reinforced, instead of providing good or neutral objective information.
This is due to the influence of special interest groups that have power in the realm of corporate control of mainstream media.
In other words... brainwashing information as opposed to educating people, is the norm of public relations, based on the notion of propaganda or deception, whether on television or in the classroom.
Special interest faction control of media and education is the norm, and money/debt tokens can be tracked also as the arbiter of decision making in a Price System... control of money, increasing sources of money and power to special interest groups is the main focus.
Energy conversion eliminates so called ''jobs'' and work. Purchasing power is not maintained as to ''debt tokens''.
As a method of social control the Price System fails as technology has made it an antique concept.
Emergence occurs.

And why limit it only to North America and not all of America? Culturally speaking, Central & South America ("Latin America") is closer to integrate in that way as oppossed to integrating with the U.S.A... The only option would be Mexico.

But so to speak, if you are aiming at something as big as this project, why not the entire continent? Furthermore I believe the system could be dynamic enought to be ported to pretty much the entire world.
