Hello.. What Size&Type of Engine that you put to That Beautifull Plane? Thanks

The engine is a Super Tigre .61. The recommended engine is a .46 but it would be underpowered. The .61 works beautifully with a Bison pitts muffler.

I have not yet repaired it but it is really not that bad. The landing gear can be glued right back into place. I have to rebuild a little bit of the under carriage and recover it. The Biggest problem is a bent crank shaft. I will have it back in the air soon, maybe with some skis for winter flying. Thanks.

Ouch! Sorry about your Decathlon. Were you able to repair?
I'm on my second Seagull Decathlon after losing one to a dead stick while at low altitude on the downwind leg.
I liked the plane so much I bought another one and have logged 60 flights on her this season. The rest of my planes are jealsous, just sitting there not being flown.

The repair is complete. I recovered most of the chunks of balsa and put it back together like a puzzle. I reinforced the undercarriage with balsa and plywood supports and glued the landing gear back on with 30 minute epoxy then I replaced the covering. This bird looks as good as new and is ready for another uncontrolled flight!
