  • You're completely obnoxious and I doubt the veracity of your posts. However, I wanted to mention that I went to the NYC Dist Council of Carpenters yesterday and watched their Graduating Apprentice Competition and I was really impressed with what I saw there. Their school does a great job training young men and women and their skills showed.

  • The wealthy people of the upper east side and even the "fags" in Greenwich village don't like or relate to you NYC Union "gorilla's". They pay me to come from Arizona because I do great work, finish quickly, I'm clean cut, well mannered, well spoken, and well traveled. They love me and absolutely hate you Local douche Bags. You guys a thieving pigs and they don't want you in their homes. So keep doing what your doing...I'm getting rich because of your terrible habits and attitudes

  • Also, I come to NYC and do private work for $80-100 hr and finish in half the time of any Douche NYC/NJ. My clients pay my airfare, hotel, wages and are happy with the high quality work i do. I do it all, the Rough thru finish electrical, plumbing, drywall, millwork. I come in, work 10-12 hrs a day/ 6 days a week for three weeks, deliver top quality work. I go back to AZ with a check ($15-18,000). I pay taxes after paying for my trucks, insurance, 3 retirement funds. You guys are 20 yr slaves

  • I'm with Carpenters Southwest, I work all over the country installing millwork. Chicago Union workers are amazing, San Francisco awesome, NYC/NJ are the worst. THE WORST!!! They SUCK. bad attitudes, poorly skilled, thieves and mobsters mostly. Lazy stupid, morons mostly. Sorry to the few of you who are not. I've been traveling for 13 years and have not met 1, not one NYC/NJ carpenter who could hang with the big boys. They SUCK...PERIOD

  • I was there. But then, I've been wherever there

was for 31 years. The members control our union.

The members control my cousin's union. Ask a ghetto kid Apprentice how he could get married and buy a house on time. Ask how. Should we ever decide to have a socialism made by us, we'll control and be responsible for that also.

  • Technically in a Union? LMAO

  • power

  • socialism my ass... everything we do is democratic!! we vote on everything! we make our own rules! we have all the say in what we do! AMERICA WORKS BEST WHEN WE SAY UNION YES!!

  • If you don't like the way your Union is ran or staffed. Do something about it. Don't bash all Unions because you don't like yours. Unions help the entire middle class, not just union members.

  • i'm technically in a union, and it is goddamn socialism. they are lazy motherfuckers.
