@TheDrenegade They're slightly lighter and more aerodynamic than a Trans Am.
I have MT march 95 at the near back of the page it showed the times on Formula to be at 13.9 while the TA is at 14.2. The same thing goes for the 96 and 97. The Firehawk Formula version is even quicker.

@Naturalhit Its a Firebird Formula. They aren't any faster than Trans Am's. They have same engine and everything only that they came standard with v6 and v8 was an upgrade. While the Trans Am is the higher priced package with all the luxurious.

Actually it's a Formula. They are considered to be slightly faster than the Trans Am.

This is firebird not trans am

you didn't look in the right place... the first year for the ss AND WS6 in a fourth gen f-body was 1996
-
@JPARKERZ28 actually i just looked it up, 97 was first year of 4th gens for ws6 but they had them in the 80s also
-
@timmypstyle wrong... the ss/ws6 was not on any fourth gen f-body until 1996.
-
@TheDodgeChallenger actually from 80s+ were all suspension package. ram air was added to the package in 93 with the re-design i think. WS6 is different wheels/tires/suspension/i think gearing(not sure) optional 6spd. basically base T/A and formula are like camaro Z28, WS6 is like the camaro SS(in the 90s+)

damn, nice

@ronbunch1 in the 80s it was a suspension package but in the 90s and up to 2002 it was a ram air intake.
Was a 94 transam! went into a ditch put the body off a regular firebird on it thats what happened.
