@xxxFaustusxxx I know you probably don't care, but Ed Thomas wasn't just any Coach. Ed Thomas was a phenomonal football coach, and an even better man. He meant a lot to Applington Parkersburg, and everyone who knew anything about high school football in Iowa. You don't know how much this man meant to high school football in Iowa. Coach Thomas was one of the best coaches alive. R.I.P

What an absolute jackass. This is one of the worst things that could happen. Coming from a small town with 1 high school where high school football means everything this is horrible.

I can't even begin to tell you how wrong your entire statement is. I'm from Aplington-Parkersburg and played football for Coach Thomas. Mark Becker DID start in high school and was All-State. Another fact you fail to realize is that Mark was an amazing kid. It wasn't until he got heavy into drugs that his life took a turn for the worst. So please, know the facts before you disrespect someone over the internet.
