Part 1 of 3 - Wonderful performance - Sinfonieorchester Baden-Baden conducted by Michael Gielen and directed by Barrie Gavin. 1989. The way the screen is split to focus on different orchestral groups and performers is fantastic and brings the piece visually alive. Gielen is one of the great conductors and this is one of the best performances I have heard.

Andrew: Thank you so much for posting this video.. Ever since my teen years, I have loved this piece. Even now, I listen to the recording of it that I cherish the most: Maurice Abravanel conducting the Utah Symphony Orchestra... Cheers.
