Some video footage of the U-260, German WWII submarine sunk near Glandore Co.Cork Ireland. In the video you can see the VHF antenna, conning tower, rudder, props and prop shaft, also the sky periscope, rear torpedo tube.
There is also a look inside the conning tower where you can see the remains of the attack computer and an inner hatch. Check out denism66 for u260 video filmed on a day with much better underwater visibility. Much easier to make out the shape of the sub.

Hi, great footage of the U260, the photo of the U260 entering port was one I got from a crew member of the U260 whom I traked down and interviewed in Germany. It is the boat returning after a several weeks at sea (note the christmas tree on the conning tower)......Glyn Carragher, Galway.
Thank you Glyn for the use of the photo, i didn't realise that was a christmas tree.
Sounds like there is much more to the story of the U260 than initially thought.
