@cheeseburger9418 When a manual car is parked the hand brake (e brake) should be engaged. This locks the back wheels however if you are parked on a hill the weight of the car could cause the car roll down the hill (hand brakes are not to be fully trusted and when parked on a hill you should also engage first gear gear just to be on the safe side). when parking a stick shift car it is wise to leave it in first gear with the hand brake on even on a flat parking area.
what if the car is stopped like not moving at all and the clutch is not pushed in but the e brake is down, will the car move if the car is like in a hill or something? or the e brake has to be on at all times when the car is parked?
