Race Causes Death!!!

Melbourne Police are hoping to arrest several rioters from Friday night's attack on a Bob Jane T-Mart outlet in Melbourne's southeast, by trawling though YouTube videos and Facebook pages.

Footage of the 2,000 protesters has been put up over the internet, including photos of a ringleader smashing windows at the store.

Hundreds of others are shown trashing the store and causing traffic disruptions on the Princes Highway in Oakleigh.

The crowds were protesting the cancellation of the EasterNats race meet, of which Bob Jane T-mart was a sponsor.

The event was cancelled after Bob Jane T-Mart withdrew support because of contract issues.

Franchise owner Neville Smith says he has no idea why his particular store was targeted.

'I've had nothing to do with it,' he said.

'As an organization, we've done nothing wrong. It's just got around on YouTube and Facebook that we were the ones to blame.'

The same website states that their research indicates that since the speed limit was introduced on 1st January 2007 they've experienced a 37% decrease in deaths and as such there are NO PLANS to reintroduce unlimited speed limits.
