An editing project I decided to do. Let me tell you first off, this isn't a Gerry Anderson production. It's a Japanese Supermarionation ("Supermarionorama") series inspired by Gerry Anderson's works. The series was made in 1980 and brought over to the UK in 1982. It was dubbed with new music, sound masters and voice actors. The sound masters seemed to be from Cinesound, the same SFX company used in all of Gerry's shows.
I've throughly enjoyed it, not being able to find many episodes though. I'd buy the DVD were it available in the US....
So, of course when seeing it; all I can imagine is Barry Gray's music as i'm so accustomed to his music on the Supermarionation works. The actual music is the typical "cheesy 80's music" (like Power Rangers or something) but then again Terrahawks had the same thing.... I don't care too much, I admire the model work!
This is alot similar to Gerry's 80's show "Terrahawks" and they both use the puppets via rods, Denise Bryer (Captain Mary Falconer) was also Commander Makara. It has an apparant connection to "TUGS" as John Baddeley played PPA and Sean Barrett played Captain Orion.
I'm rambling..... Anyhow, I added sounds where the original music was in the way..... The removal of the music in voice scenes was acheived with Audacity
Im sorry to says but Paul Bliss music for this was a lot better than what you have used.

@TheCaptain0rion Youre right.... Back when I made this, I was indifferent to Bliss's music; but now I think quite highly of it!

@mikecane2008 Compared to Paul Bliss' cheesy 80's style music, Barry's music is much more memorable!

@thebladezmanII I wouldn't say Paul Bliss's synth score is any more cheesy than Mike and Junior's work on TTTE around the same time. Both Paul Bliss and Barry Gray's music is memorable in it's own way - and both are very much tied to their respective eras. By the 80's I doubt it was considered financially viable to assemble a small orchestra to score a kids TV show as Gray was allowed to in the 60's, hence the rise of the synthesizer.

@TheKipperRunsAgain Well, can't argue there. But obviously I prefer Gray's work compared to Bliss's. I'm sure some might consider Gray's music as "cheesy 60's music" (uncertain why anyone would as his stuff was unique compared to other music in the 60's). Don't hate Bliss's music either, though my meaning is more that it sounded like the typical high based music used in over-used childrens series, the lousy redubbed version of "Thunderbirds" by Fox Kids did the same thing.
