BTW i found the olives on ebay, Martinis Greek Kalamata Pitted Olives. They're like $30 shipped.

The first 2 minutes, I was like meh, but very cool. I would love to find one of those olive containers and coffee cans near me.

@jspate61 Yes, I do intend to have a go at that as well. I was one of the guys picking your brain on that thread in the last couple of weeks. ;)

The diy silnylon is a breeze. Just be sure to really saturate the fabric well; take your time, don't rush it. Best of luck.
By the by, plastic tarps reenforced with duct tape or strapping tape work just as well. I have a tutorial on a plastic hex tarp you might want to see.
Thanks for watching.

@jspate61 "a weakness", no my friend, not a weakness. There is a frustrated engineer in you, a cheap one, but there none the less. And, I am glad for it!!! ;)
So glad in fact, I have decided to try to make my own silnylon becuase of you.
I love it. Great video. But, never seen olive bottle or coffee you are talking about. Would you sell me entire kit please.?? $15.00 or what price would you put on it. I am serious !! I need 5. Please let me know. Thanks so so much. Really good video. Peace be with you. Thread ? thread? what tread is that? That sounds interesting.

Sorry, I have none to sell. But you understand the concept of how everything nests together? Just send the kids to your nearest recycling center, they'll find everything they need right there - for FREE. Thanks for watching, and be sure to look at my Minimalist Multi-fuel Camp Kitchen. It's an evolved version of this one, and still only costs a buck.
Cheers

Alot of very cool ideas..even if one were to pay more than a buck!I like the widscreen used as a way to cook/hydrate like a cozy.I realised my windscreen was too short my last trip,I'll have this idea in mind when I cut a new one soon.I like the netting as a scrubber.Multi purpose, light, and dry faster than a sponge.

Hey thanks a lot. I'm ashamed to say how much time went into putting that kit together, but it taught me a great deal, especially about the behavior dyanmics between the pot, burner, and windscreen. Each was developed to maximize heat and minimize fuel consumption. It's such a kick to make stuff like this yourself.
Cheers
