Isolé

Tucked between the eastern mountains and the cliffs to the west, Isole' is the pristine town on the river, with the most vibrant meadows and gentle southbound winds constantly blowing through. Influences of the country around them have no effect on it's inhabitants state of mind, emotions or worries.

Kieran simply wanted to get away from such a lonely place, a valley of constant stagnancy was not his deepest desire.

He, however, like many of us in our lives learned that sometimes, the one thing you miss the most is the one thing you never thought you wanted.

Isole' is a piece for Piano Quintet [That is, a String Quartet with a Pianor] and solo clarinet. I had almost forgotten how beautiful and vulnerable the instrument could sound.

The inspiration[s] behind this come from recent events, as most of my music has/will. This piece is probably the direct opposite of Final Voyage of the St. Susan, which you can watch here:
