Metal Gear Movie Trailer: Starring Kiefer Sutherland

After becoming a 24 addict I realized that Kiefer Sutherland, although slightly different in appearance than the game's character, truly embodies the main qualities of Solid Snake. He's got the age range, the toughness, the action prowess and especially the voice.

If a Metal Gear movie is made, the best I could hope for as a Kiefer fan is maybe a role as Revolver Ocelet if they changed the age range a bit. I realize Jack is too close to Snake and they probably would never go this direction, but I made this trailer anyway, just because I thought it would kick ass to see Kiefer alongside the Metal Gear vibe.

Threw this together in imovie, which is limited in its range, hence the not quite pro level of its visual appearance, but it's enough to work I think as a pitch reel.

Yeah, it's hard to find any clips that really match...I just did this in like an hour or so...I hear you though. Still, buff him up and gruff him out a little and he's perfect...

i would say in terms of that metal gear solid like tactical espionage type of feel... 24 is the close we have goten in terms of a tv show... now we need the movie to top it off.

cool idea but it kinda got ruined by too much 24 footage which made it just too obvious plus I think Kiefer's trying to escape the spy role typecasting.

I absolutly love the song, just is fully epic. Makes me wanna go back and play all of my old MGS games.

i would have accepted your opinion of whether kiefer fits the role of not if you werent such an avid 24\kiefer fan.

I didn't realize just how good the graphics were until it took me a bit to notice some of the clips were from the game. xD This is a great trailer man, 5/5

Yeah, less redemption, more Bauer sneaking missions would have helped. But I see where you're going..

Keifer as Bauer would be 100% bad-ass. He would need to work out a lot more though. One comment is you should blend in a little more MGS rather than Redmeption. That movie really sucked.
