Have you guys ever heard the version on the album? It's very, very similiar but it's the BEST EC solo ever! It starts out with the same bend, but in overall it's just better executed, phrased and played, plus it ends in a screaming high note that just tears your heart out! Give it a listen if you can.

naturally i heard the album version, but it's one of the songs which clapton makes great live versions of, different interpretation each show. really love it.
check out his live version to "i shot the sheriff".
