Created by APICHA (The Asian & Pacific Islander Coalition on HIV/AIDS), this PSA is meant to highlight our Street SMART Program where young gay, bisexual, trans, queer, and questioning men can learn how to reduce their risks for HIV and have fun! After attending the workshop series, you'll be eligible to come to a free trip to Six Flags Gay Day and can apply to become one of our Youth Leaders (through the YMSM Project. Plus, there's always free food and Metrocards!!

APICHA, a non-profit organization, was founded in 1989 in response to the AIDS epidemic in New York City. The mission of APICHA is to combat HIV/AIDS stigma and related discrimination, to prevent the spread of the HIV/AIDS pandemic in Asian & Pacific Islander communities, and to provide care and treatment for Asian & Pacific Islanders living with HIV/AIDS and their families.

The mission of the YMSM (Young Men who have Sex with Men) Project is to combat AIDS-related discrimination, and to support, empower, and enhance the quality of life of Asian & Pacific Islander YMSM in New York City, New Jersey, and Long Island. Through education, training, community outreach, coalition-building, and research, we promote and uphold the ideals of sexuality and sexual health and the acceptance of API YMSM. We offer further assistance to young queer and questioning youth through EquAsian, our social and support youth-led group.
