This is tasty and flavorful yet super easy. This is the perfect comfort food on a cold fall/winter day. Add cornbread if you're really country. :0)

  • I'm TRYING to make your gumbo and mine came out SUPER THICK. Did you use a broth of any kind?

  • @sheabutterr Yes. I made my own shrimp stock but you could use any broth; chicken, fish etc.

  • I make mine the exact same way except I swear by Garden Chunky Ragu and I add extra garlic and onion powder. Oh and for a bit of spice I sometimes add in a can of dice tomatoes with green chilies. I also add cheese and sour cream and luv to eat it with cornbread.
