As dance scenes go it's not bad in and of itself but it lacks the energy, and the sense of spontaneity and fun, of the original. The original also had an undercurrent of raw sensuality - a healthy, natural, honest (almost innocent) and not in the least bit degrading, sexuality that is also lacking here.
Also, the original had a cool dancing old guy in it (who was probably the same age then that I am now... sigh).
