Here it is. One of the best songs from 'Tallica. I first thought of doing the solo, but since Les Pauls are single cut guitars (OMG NO WAI) it's not so easy to play it. Well, here it is anyway. I fucked up the solo rhythm since I've been practicing the solo. I'll post the solo within the year 2009 when I'll probably (!) get a new guitar, lol.

I recorded the actual audio couple of weeks ago, so it's actually a playback. I wasn't so keen on recording another take, so to save my time I just played over it still putting the original audio on. It's better than nothing, right?

Check my channel to see my gear and other videos, blah blah blah etc.

  • gibson or epiphone?

  • @SasukeUchihaVLAD It's a Gibson, even though you can't see it too well.

  • I know a way you could do a lead track. You use this excat video as rhythym... Then when there is a harmony you pop a little window showing the video. Then the solo you sit down a record as many times as you take.... ITs just a thought/

  • Nah. It's not worth it, the quality is already so shitty. Plus I don't have the original video anymore. But what I really lack is the right technique and feeling. Pretty much every guitar player can just stare at the tabs and play all the required numbers, but that's not playing guitar. Good idea, though, but for now I'm not doing it.

  • omg i love ur custom

  • Even though it might look like the Custom model, it's a Studio. No binding, trapezoid fretmarks and the regular headstock.

  • for all the tallica songs use the modern heavy present right above the insaine one.its a little less heavy but way better tone and put the delay around 35

  • Nice playing ! But how do you record your songs?

  • Great, thanks.

  • Sounds good, not as harsh as the insane but still as heavy as the insane modeling. Probably gonna use it on the next videos, so thanks for the advice!
